Partial Closure of Brady Street for DASH Substation work

-For immediate release. May 7, 2025

(Greater Sudbury, ON) – Part of Brady Street will be temporarily closed on Sunday, May 11 for transformer work at our DASH substation, located at 179 Brady Street beside the Sudbury Theatre Centre. Two eastbound lanes of Brady Street and the adjacent sidewalk will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., as shown in the image below.

A crane and other heavy equipment will be on-site, and for everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you keep a safe distance from the active work area. Traffic control measures will be in place.

Please note, no power interruptions are scheduled in association with this work.
